Thread waisted wasp of some sort. These wasps paralyze caterpillars and pull them into their underground burrows and lays a wasp egg on them

Excellent. Last year the insects tore my garden up. A good friend of mine suggested putting in a predator garden bed next to it to attract predators and sent me some flower seeds. It seems to have worked. I still had some early caterpillar pressure on my tomatoes but nothing like last year.
