Ahhhhh yeah. Finally finished my printed glock 43x assembly. Will likely print again with a few tweaks, but overall it has a great look, feel and function. Can't wait to test fire it!

Are these to the point you can fire that without concerns of material failure?
For sure. Depending on print quality however.
I would say a few hundred rounds on most well printed pla lowers.
If they look stressed or worn, print a new one
That's amazing
I'm working on a few other variants and an AR-15 lower is printing now.
I don't have any 3d print experience. Is the quality of the printing medium printer agnostic, or do you get a printer that uses stuff strong enough for these applications? Don't mean to bug ya, just curious as hell ha
Most modern printers can do just fine. The key is in the parameters of the print, printer settings, etc.. my current one is amazing right out of the box(qidi Q1 pro) compared to my previous ender 3 model.
However when tuned right, the ender 3 can produce similar quality and strength, it just takes time and patience to tune it more.
