Unfortunately, a 29y old supporter of #Raja #Casablanca lost her life yesterday, before the quarterfinal 2nd leg between the team from Casablanca and Al Ahly from #Egypt.

Oversold match, young people trying to enter, overrun security, chaos, police responding with water cannon, etc 😔😔😔

That is awful. These middle eastern venues really need to get their crowd control in order. Too many times has this happened with club matches in Egypt over the years.

True, you are right.

It’s not the first time happening.

This game was in Casablanca, Morocco 🇲🇦 though.

Al Ahly was the away team. They had little to do with the crowds and how it was managed.

Yeah it's not Al Ahly or Egypt's fault here, but it just reminds me of those examples.
