It's very complex to understand the value of Bitcoin. You need to understand fiat, money, decentralization, energy and cryptography. There is always something new you learn along the way. This is the main reason the adoption is so low. It takes time for people to learn it.

And then comes this new generation that grew up in front of a phone screen and will turn us all in the future equivalent of a IT Challenged Boomer.
I sometimes imagine this:

What you say is true and also a feature. Imagine if it was so simple millions of people jumped in 10 years ago. The BTC system probably wouldn't have coped and it may have been a much bigger threat to fiat. Everything is going as planned I think.
