I agree on junk food but I don’t have any problem with Indian food. A good Indian meal is delicious.

As an immigrant myself, I believe that anyone who emigrates to the US to realize the American dream has a sacred duty to ensure that the dream remains available to future generations. That means embracing the American values that make this country, and the American dream, a reality. Without the American values, there is no American dream.

And you can’t embrace these values if you don’t speak the language.

Plus is rude towards the society that is welcoming you. I lived for 3 years in Finland and made a point of learning some Finnish even though you could get by with English and many foreigners did exactly that.

Sadly a good Indian meal was ruined when they replaced ghee with cheaper seed oils. And due to this, incredibly, India is one of the most obese countries in the world
