Thank you for the detailed explanation.
But for small amounts, do you think this wallet will be as safe as Blue Wallet?
Hi, Dom! I don't know much about their new wallet, but generally speaking - if you're not particularly worried about privacy, a wallet like Proton is probably an ok place to keep some sats.
If you're building your savings in bitcoin (and you should build some savings in bitcoin as soon as you're able!), it's best to take the time to do research on wallets. A hardware wallet is a device that you use to access your bitcoin, and a "cold" wallet is one that doesn't touch the internet, so your private keys are not in danger of being compromised online.
If you haven't seen them yet, I would take a look at nostr:npub1rxysxnjkhrmqd3ey73dp9n5y5yvyzcs64acc9g0k2epcpwwyya4spvhnp8 YT videos. He has really great tutorials on many wallets.
Thank you for the detailed explanation.

I'm not sure! But if you do a search for both on here, you might find a good range of opinions that can give you more information.
It sounds like nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx was involved in some way in helping them build it, so you can also look for his post on that. The comments might have some good questions/suggestions.
