Unfortunately you’ll be breathing in lots of chemicals from the mask with little to no effect on your anonymity. If masks made you more difficult to track, they wouldn’t have pushed them this aggressively. Sophisticated video surveillance can detect you based on body shape and walking patterns already. Wouldn’t be surprised if they used the masks to train their models to not rely on facial detection.
