in my honest opinion, i don't see any sort of considerable amount of people coming to nostr specifically for "Other Stuff" or any micro-service just yet.

i think all of our non social apps and micro-services such as your password manager and your URL shortener will be used by nostriches first and for a while only by nostriches. we'll know that nostr is a success when people start using the "Other Stuff" without being on one of nostr's social apps first.
