According to White House sources, Trump was furious and confronted Netanyahu “in an exceptionally direct and firm manner” over Israel’s intention to strike Iran again after Iranian missiles hit Israeli cities. Following that conversation, Netanyahu ordered the pilots to target “peripheral sites” and then return to their bases.
