Being #doxxed was a personal choice for me. I wanted to open my life up to greater scrutiny by this community and let my online presence be backed by an irl person.

That being said, I don’t want to live in a world where everyone is doxxed. There’s a need for anonymous voices to continue to beat the drum under the covering of a pseudonym.

Interesting, and did you do the reflection before creating your profile on nostr? Or did you take it later?

I started off with a pseudonym on here and then doxxed myself once I started meeting folks from #nostr irl. I wasn’t posting anything on here I wouldn’t share with my neighbor, so it made sense.

Worst that could happen is that harm comes to me or my family based on the convictions we carry - but I and my household are happy to die by our convictions, for it’s by our convictions we are able to actually live.

I like you guys so I decided to show my face

I like the way you think, I'm considering doing the same thing.
