I'm happy that Assange is finally going back home.
But it's absolutely outrageous that after being held for 5yrs in jail without trial he still had to plead guilty to be freed, was forbidden from flying commercial & will now owe $500k to the AU govt.
All because he did his job.
moral decay is ripe within many governments and institutions. It's a sad state of affair's.
There has never been, and can never be a moral government. Those 2 things cannot happen together.
Why does he owe them 500k?
He had to fly private because it was the only way he could get out of the country back to Australia
