1) All interaction leaves a record of what you interacted with and fully-anon interaction has less communicative value.

2) Most people IRL are also passive. Interaction is a form of leadership and most people aren't leaders, by nature. (That is not a criticism.)

3) Inactive npubs often find asymmetrical ways to support the active npubs who espouse their views, so the effort of representation is rewarded indirectly.

4) Active npubs know that their behavior is _directive_ and that they are affecting what the others are subsequently exposed to, by changing the available options.

The problem is in not viewing zaps as information and communication. Who wants to communicate a message? Who wants to affect which information is displayed? That person will zap.

If you simply want fee-for-service, charge fees outright.
