After weeks of playing Adorable Home on Playables/YouTube, I switched the character's so that the mom goes to work and the dad stays home. When I had the mom stay home, between the two of them, the man used the shower once. All of sudden they kept putting the woman in the shower or bath when she got home, so now I made the two characters MEN.
