Is there anyone left outside the power club that still believes governments represent a force for good?
Discussion
It depends. We have to define our terms these days. By what standard are we defining “good”?
There's a whole party of such people. They're called Democrats. They make up about half the population of the United States of America. While, they don't like the current occupant of the White House, they still believe in government and using it to control other people's lives.
Republicans generally think Trump and republican party members are a force for good.
In both cases, they stand for nothing and line their pockets while pretending to defend their constituents' values. Tariffs and immigration, particularly legal immigration reform, this year is the first evidence I've seen in my lifetime they might be willing to bite the bullet and stop the bleed.
Up until now, it's been nothing but oligarchs (both red and blue) undermining the average American through government, education, courts, media and misinformation think-tanks while brainwashing us to demand policies that destroy our way of life to their benefit. Their tables are finally turning and they themselves are beginning to feel the pain.
It's shocking to me that there are so many people who haven't figured it out yet.
