i left to go shopping for food but didn't respond to her last message, which was political.
then, after a while, she said "i see that i struck a nerve." and soon after "i'm out." and then i was unable to send messages anymore.
this is one problem with online platforms. can't clear up any misunderstandings after a block has happened.

based on how sensitive she was to silence, she was a bit deeper than her cheerful conversational style would suggest. you have to read a lot into someone to block them over a pause in the conversation.
