No thanks.
I'm not putting any kind of monetary transactions on or through any flavor of raspberry pi.
Cool that you got it to work, though.

Why not? Pray tell, sir?
It's not secure at all. There are usually hardware issues. I read a few things about pis that I can't recall the extent, exactly, but, I'd never bother with one for any kind of important stuff.
I'd rather run a bunch of VMs to do the same thing.
Nothing that ends up connected to the internet should be considered secure anyway also in my experience raspberry pi 4 4GB and 8GB RAM boards have been extremely reliable and either no one has found me yet or the security is robust enough that every time I log in it’s exactly how I left it. So 🤷🏼 idk why y’all hate on pis so much starting to seem like some of you just suck at running computers Lol maybe not you personally but lots of seething hate for pi around this #nostr and I simply don’t understand it fantastic little hobby machines for sure. imho
I do suck at running computers. The last thing I need is way more of them. It takes much more effort and trust in other people to secure a micro than a GPC, with the understanding that that is my circumstance.
LOL. You know most lightning nodes run on general purpose computers right? Likely your transactions travel through these devices from time to time.
I’m actually curious as to why? Don’t get me wrong, you’re obviously entitled to your own opinion but I run few PI nodes using Raspiblitz and they are running just fine. Maybe I’m missing something?
I just don't like a lot of separated computers running all the time. It's not easy to manage, the hardware itself isn't what I'd consider durable, and I'm not actually good enough to get all of that running and set up for everything that I want to do, plus, they add up on terms of buying a bunch of hardware and in terms of power.
I am learning to run one proxmox server to do what I want with one piece of much more powerful hardware that is both more money and eventually more electrically efficient.
