want to take a moment to compliment nostr:npub1ye5ptcxfyyxl5vjvdjar2ua3f0hynkjzpx552mu5snj3qmx5pzjscpknpr for once rather than complaining
i think the way NoStrudel now uses thin, straight color lines is distinct and classy
of course i take full credit for originating this but nostr:npub1ye5ptcxfyyxl5vjvdjar2ua3f0hynkjzpx552mu5snj3qmx5pzjscpknpr deserves credit for adopting this approach because we all received some good advice in our time - but did we take that advice ?
going to tag nostr:npub10000003zmk89narqpczy4ff6rnuht2wu05na7kpnh3mak7z2tqzsv8vwqk here as well, as he is a design guy
good design is simple, clean and functional. the functional part takes high IQ like mine, but most people can't even get the simple and clean part right because retarded. and with cheap products often the simple and clean part is ruined on purpose to differentiate the premium product from entry leve.
this way Mercedes designs S class first with clean lines then a year later E-Class comes out and some liens are deliberately bent for no reason to make it look cheaper. then a year later C class comes out and the trend continues. until eventually some A class type bullshit is out that looks completely deformed and it's all on purpose because actually there was a backlash when one time Mercedes released a cheaper car that looked too similar to the S-class. the owners of S-Class revolted.
the problem is most amateurs don't know this and think curved lines are "design" when actually it's just made to make things look ugly and cheap on purpose. luckily one of the greatest intellectuals of our time ( me ) is here to help !
