Its so good. Practical effects. Psychological/body horror, John Carpenters spundtrack. Definitely one of my favorites.

It’s actually Ennio Morricone’s soundtrack. Genius. He did Hateful Eight too. Tarantino said that film is basically The Thing as a western!

I need to rewatch The Hateful Eight.

My other half wasn't so much a fan. Just need to wait til she falls asleep. And then stay up for two and a half hours 😅

Practical effects are missing from films these days , they can be so much more visceral and terrifying than anything computer generated.

Everything so floaty now. No weight. I'll take a guy in a suit godzilla crushing a model city any day over cgi spectacular.
