Nice! I think what I had done was pay an invoice and somehow set the first and last hop to two channels in my own node and let it rip. Sometimes depending on the route it would just time out, but I did get it to work for some better connected channels. I couldn't tell you much more. I did it in a fog of complete ignorance.
