Replying to nobody

Been messing around with the @Start9 server today and solved the puzzle on how to securely send sensitive text data from my phone to PC. All you have to do is set up a text file in a personal folder using the File Manager app, and you can send encrypted text between devices without ever trusting a cloud service. All you have to do is paste the text from your mobile device into the text file, open it on your PC through a Start9 terminal browsing session, then copy it wherever you need it ie a PC local text file that you encrypt for storage on an external drive or wherever.

ssh & scp are life-changing

Check out open source app ConnectBot

Create private key on each machine with ssh-keygen

ssh–copy–id from one device to the other

passwordless login!
