I happen to agree Few, but I guess there are two things going on, many social media sites use that method of comms so it's a way of getting wider reach for Nostr and you also get the option of having more than one profile if you want. Doesn't appeal to me from a privacy point of view but then again we have the option not to do that +

Agreed, and If one was really driven to "vlog", ai could be used to generate the content.

I vlogged early on. Then attended a meeting with Andreas Antonopoulos for some people that had supported him, and the opsec involved to keep him safe and secure was startling. I went anonymous soon after.

I've wondered if that is why he keeps such a low profile now. We owe that OG a lot... much praise to aantonop.

Yeah, his stuff is still great for people to learn from, lucky you for getting the chance to hear from him! Given all the things that are happening right now, I do hope people will learn more about digital specific privacy, to at least understand the options before making a public profile with videos. Let us see.
