With as easily as people are offended today, how come so few people are offended by being referred to as "Consumers"?

Like your purpose, the reason for your very existence is to 'consume' stuff?

How about 'Tax Payer"? Is that how you 'identify'?? Maybe "Worker"? "Citizen"?
