One day soon I'd like to perform a full-source bootstrap of a GNU Guix system:

Yes, it's not very practical for the average user, but it would be interesting to see the whole process and get a sense for how long it takes.

Try bumping bash or some other low level package and then build out to it to test. I love the full-source bootstrap but it is loooong.
