I think people tune in less and less but what’s being discussed by the mockingbird media is still being perceived as acceptable speech. Everything outside of this Overtone window is being perceived as fringe speech. Hence, it’s not so much the individual consumption of mockingbird news that is the issue but rather the collective distorted perception of each other’s Overton window.
