more #SourceHut issues.. ..504 gateway time-out and SSH authentication errors.. ..do i pull the trigger on my own self-hosted option (and deal with all the maintenance that requires), or do i just use one of the [more] mainstream git hosts ?

You can consider #Codeberg. Monetise your project in some way if possible. Contribute some of the revenue back to them.

codeberg had the same outage issues as SourceHut at the beginning of the year.. ..i just want something stable at this point.. ..i'm not a dev or programmer, so i don't have anything i want to monetize, i just like sharing my Linux configs and scripts
