Apparently in fourth turnings, society often experiences both internal and external existential conflicts.
Hard not to see the obvious in the US. Internally, blue and red states at each others throats, declining standards of living and escalating financial crisis. Externally, China making other countries dependent, isolating the US.
When the world sees the US lose the proxy war in Ukraine, other countries will be emboldened. More conflicts likely.
