Everyone I know has this romantic idea that everything’s going to work out okay. That democracy’s going to prevail in the United States. But they have no plan B if that hunch doesn’t pan out. This is what worries me.

I worry about state supported, civilian acts of terrorism. Sort of like how the KKK was subtly/implicitly endorsed by local police departments back in the day.
That being said my plan consists of possibly moving to Wisconsin or Minnesota where I’ll be close to the border. I’ll wait to see how things pan out but at the same time have all my documents in order to seek asylum.
