Biggest problem for #nostr is discovery of new creators. If you aren't dragging over your Twitter following, it is nearly impossible to find an audience.

Is anyone working on a solution for this?

I suspect you've just solved your own problem.

The onus is on you the creator, to create. You've put in the proof of work & I'm guessing you'll be visible very soon!

Hash tags are the best we've got.

Please go on writing a couple of more sentences to explain the hashtag thing. How could this guy for example have used hashtags? 🙏

Depending on the client, users can follow hash tags & will see these notes, even if they're not following the noter.

People tend to boost high value content from unknown plebs & nyms.

The problem for users is that they either get to see every note (global - high noise) or only the notes from npubs they're following. It's hard for a new npub to bridge that gap.

There are ways. Commenting, hash tags (as nostr:npub1jmy8weweqzckna0amz7pn0uhhkxx693l7st23829ewmu43yvjsesfp6xcq mentioned) and IRL events.

It's possible that the data vending machines that nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft is working on could provide suggested follows based on notes or search phrases.

100% today I wrote one doing exactly this

Suggested profiles bases on search? Will keep an eye out.
