Confirmed my streams aren't getting all lagged out using nostr:npub1eaz6dwsnvwkha5sn5puwwyxjgy26uusundrm684lg3vw4ma5c2jsqarcgz (although metadata isn't updating on Amethyst and it doesn't show as live on Amethyst dunno why) but the important bit is I know where the issue is, Vultr is throttling me gotta use a proper VPS to host Xanny Radio.

Yeah, I noticed after a bit Amethyst doesn't show live status even if you can watch live, maybe a timeout thing? PlebCloud.live has worked well for me, though the zap stream website won't display the feed. Still shows on Amethyst, and shows live on zap stream nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z

Zap Stream works fine with a custom HLS feed but seems hit and miss for their own API ironically.

What setup do you use for the HLS stream?

I stream with OBS or streamyard to PlebCloud via rtmp and then point Zap.stream at the m3u8 url

So you use their third party RTMP servers?

Yep, it's that or I setup with CloudFlare or something, because my data connection at home is likely not going to handle an HLS stream directly with any stability

Yeah same and my router has been iffy recently too have to keep resetting it or randomly it'll start dropping connections or lagging etc so now I gotta drop more monopoly money on a new one.

I don't wanna use Cloudflare for mine hence scoping out cheap VPS deals with a few TB bandwidth.

I'm curious what you come up with, I wouldn't mind moving a project off of AWS if a good spot made sense
