Why is it that the generations who had the most access to freedoms, are always seeking to restrict the freedoms of the generations that follow?

What are they bitter about?

I don't think they're bitter. Too much of anything isn't perceived as good, because all biological life forms oscillate around an optimal median for every dimension. If you get too far to one side, the pendulum swings back, because the organism perceives that as desirable. It's just nature, nothing rational about it.

They forget what it was like without the freedoms, something about good times cresting men..

Creating weak men*

It's from chronic exposure to lead, especially inhaled lead from leaded fuel combustion before it was outlawed, or heavy industry in urban areas back in the 1980s.

Gen X are already worse than boomers, when boomers were children cars were far less common so lead exposure during early childhood was far lower than Gen X.

Millennials only had high exposure to lead during childhood.

Gen X had high lead exposure their entire lives.

The worst part, all those cheap disposable vapes that gen z are sucking on contain lead in the solder which when heated releases fumes, so a lot of gen z will be the same when they get to their 40s,50s

But I have hope for gen alpha, the ones that do vape get bullied by their peers for it.

Lead was one of the main reasons for the decline of the Roman Empire.

Silver and lead are usually found together in the environment, melting them down to seperate released a lot of lead pollution into the air.

The section of ice cores in Antarctica from the Roman Empire contain as much lead as the sections from the industrial revolution, and I don't mean total lead, I mean per X amount of years both periods put similar amounts of lead into the air.

How does lead exposure influence behavior?

Lowers empathy and intelligence.

Because they don't know what having no freedom is like, and had it good their entire lives.. So then think they have to force people to do what they say.. Because they believe their way is the way.

Until it isn't.
