Fair - although I've heard running a relay isn't crazy expensive (?) ... but yeah, the devs working full time on innovating that is a massive concern. It surely can't go on forever unfunded 😬

I can't even imagine how much it's costing to store every picture and video that gets posted here by a torrent of bots. I believe Will said once it cost him like $600/mo to run a relay between the bandwidth and stuff.

Oh yeah, the media is another beast altogether, not to mention the human moderation which I've heard is... disturbing.

Crazy, guess I'm naive. I didn't realise it was that much for a relay
