Today, these 18 Senators supported action to protect children born alive and left to die after a failed abortion.

It is appalling and heart wrenching that 32 Senators voted against equal medical care for all newborns. The Labor and Greens Senators all voted against birth equality, as did four Liberal Senators: Kovacic, Bragg, Hume and Birmingham.

The liberal senators are a disgrace.
