Trump supporters have had this baked in and gamed out over 6 years ago. Wake till he takes the stand. He will appear and the convention will be over tuned but not until after the election.
It was easy for the people to see two-tiered "just-us" system and how everyone including the judge can be on the hook. This is all well planned because it now opened the door to try previous presidents.
