Possibly because the people who comment don’t go into global. Don’t have the strength of character to take it. Many have suggested global should be removed from clients.

I guess not everybody spent a formative part of their high school years browsing 4chan and other less restricted or moderated parts of the web.😅

I still honestly have mixed feelings about global. amethyst really helps you kind of curate your global feed at least by letting you choose which relays you want to see global content from but I can understand why people would want it removed especially if they have no way of filtering it. Because it's definitely turning into a bit of a cesspit.

Pretty much my only complaint about Damus. Better filtering mechanisms and more info about notes, like what relay(s) it was found on. But I like it since it is on my phone so I don’t have to set at my pc.
