I don’t like putting my private key into lots of clients. Would be nice to have a browser extension for that. When will Alby offer this? Would clients also need some work to enable?

Fair enough. I guess a hardware device would be a better option. Perhaps a Bitcoin harder wallet will add support for Nostr at some point.
