I’m a Toyota guy. I’ve owned five Toyota’s & two Lexus. I have a year old 2025 Tesla & it is the best car I’ve ever owned.
Not only is it rated the safest car ever put on the roads, it’s the most fun car you’ve ever driven. Moreover, if ya don’t want to drive, the car drives itself perfectly, it’s alive. I’m not joking.
& now in the recent software update, it has Grok to chat & brainstorm with you.
Say what cha want about Elon, but he builds excellent shit. 💪🏽
True, it is the Best car YOU ever owned.
But it is fucking ugly.
Fucking expensive.
And won’t last 10 years before you have to change out the batteries.

The basic vehicle limited warranty covers most all components for 4yrs or 50k mi, whichever comes first.
The battery & drive units are covered for 8yrs or one 120k mi.
I don’t keep a car longer than 6-8yrs anyway.
If I were to buy a new vehicle now, I'd prefer something for the remote parts of Central America needing 4wd. Probably a Toyota.
