2. Unsolicited commercial advertising over lightning

It seems inevitable that lightning addresses will be scraped and compiled and used to send unsolicited messages (with a payment attached).

What are your thoughts about this? How should it be managed? What are the benefits/downsides?

I want to say yes. But does that mean i will be profiled in order to be targeted?

Being bombarded with 1sat advertisements doesnt sound good.
