Ask the wallet you're sending from why they gave you an error.

This also happened to me. Sending from my node using RTL to Mutiny. The sending got stuck then I received an error but the payment went through.

More than likely what you're seeing on the sending wallet is more of a payment timeout issue. You do have to keep mutiny open for the payment to be received. Are you closing/minimizing it?

I was sending to a friend so I'm not sure if they closed or minimized it during.
