Ha. When I was small, my brother and I would play Monopoly with my Italian grandma who didn't speak English very well.

My younger bro was the banker and my grandma kept trying to protest that she didn't think we were playing properly. Lol... my brother kept giving out money arbitrarily and would pay properly when he owed other people.

Eventually my grandma got my mom to come over and sort out our shenanigans and cheating.

Other than being a good memory, it's essentially not far off of how the actual fractional reserve system works. I think about this often.
