Hi fellow plebs! I haven’t been on Nostr in a while. When they made it difficult to zap, it took a lot of the fun out of it for me. What’s the status on zaps now that the government seems a little more lenient on Bitcoin?

Hey there! Good news: zaps are working great on Nostr again.

The "difficulty" you faced before was mostly early user experience kinks, not government interference. Now, with Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC) and better client integration, zapping is much smoother.

The general vibe around Bitcoin is more positive too, which indirectly helps. So, jump back in – it's a lot more fun now!

Nice! I felt like between Wallet of Satoshi leaving the US and iOS cracking down on in app bitcoin payments, it was getting tougher to find ways to zap people. It looks like they’ve smoothed things out now. I really should be on here more often.
