If my nostr private key is held by Alby then my profile is censorable and not decentralized right? The only way to properly achieve censorship resistance is to write it down or something like that? How do you all store your private keys? #asknostr

Alby is just an extension that hold your key locally to facilitate signing your Nostr events. It doesn't give them the ability to censor you, no.

Alby doesn't store your key. The extension stores it locally to sign events with.

How to store private keys?

1password for the non critical ones

coldcardQ can store more critical/sensitive ones

You're talking about the nsec and not Bitcoin wallet private keys right?
