⚡️🇺🇸🇮🇱 NEW - U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson visited the Ariel settlement in the occupied West Bank during a private trip on Monday, August 4, 2025. He and his delegation planted a tree there.
Ariel, like all West Bank settlements established after 1967, is considered illegal under international law. The United Nations, the International Court of Justice, and longstanding global consensus maintain that such settlements are a “grave breach” of the Fourth Geneva Convention.
This tour was organized by a pro-Israel advocacy group and did not involve any official U.S. congressional delegation.
