If you want to spend as little as possible, and don’t mind tinkering a bit for good results, get a creality.

If you care about open source, but want good support, then go with Prusa.

If you want cutting edge features, and top notch print speed and don’t mind proprietary platforms go with Bambulab.

If you’re feeling adventurous and love building things, build a Voron.

Thanks for the tips. I ultimately went with a Bambulabs a while back. Speed and ease of use of that thing is quite something.
