Time is the most scarce asset we have; why spend it with assholes?

When I was a bit younger I did the same #[1]​, and I had the illusion of friendship with many such vampires. One day you wake up and realize that if you were down, sick with cancer, lost your job, went to jail, lost your house, 90% of the people in your life that you call “friends” wouldn’t show up for you even for a day.

Spend your time loving the people that love and uplift you, you’ll be much happier at the end of it all knowing you spent your most scarce resource on the right people.
