I don't understand what zaps are for.

zaps ⚡ = tips for your posts

paid in "satoshis" which are ”Bitcoin cents"

read here how to get a wallet and receive zaps

I'll download Open Bitcoin Wallet. No need for tips. Emojis are good enough.

Zaps are the nostr way, and you will accept them with grace. 🫂

Hah, maybe. I can't get them out of the lightning network though which makes them useless.

You could spend them on small things, or just zap them to someone else on here. I don't stack any zaps myself.

Zapping relays is good. And app devs.
