Pro tip: saying “I just need an answer to my simple question.” in an attempt to avoid paying for a lawyer’s time

is a major 🚩 🚩 🚩 for lawyers worth their salt.

It immediately shows the prospective client is either a) unsophisticated or b) a jerk/narcissist or both, and unlikely to understand the value the lawyer brings. That also means they’ll probably be a pain-in-the-neck, sooner than later.

Not worth it.

Yea, eventually they’ll find a lawyer to deal with their nonsense, but not the best lawyers.

I have used a few different online ask services. Lawyers, veterinarians, engineers. Sometimes you can get a yes or no answer pretty quickly but in other cases, they can get you pointed into the right direction and save you a lot of time.
