Němečtí zástupci americké firmy začali přemýšlet, jak v nových podmínkách přežít.

Vedoucí německé Coca-coly Max Kite v roce 1940 vytvořil vlastní nápoj Fanta ze surovin dostupných v Německu. Nápoj byl oblíbený mezi nacisty.

Ale už v roce 1960 získala Coca-cola práva na ochrannou známku Fanta.

In 1940, the head of German Coca-Cola, Max Kite, created his own drink Fanta from ingredients available in Germany. The drink was popular with the Nazis.

In 1960, Coca-Cola acquired the rights to the Fanta trademark.
