In 2024, the Trezor One hardware wallet celebrates its 10th anniversary. Will Trezor keep on supporting it with updates, or should users expect the world’s first Bitcoin hardware wallet to get discontinued?

According to new CEO Matej Zak, Trezor One might get replaced by new and improved devices in the future, but it will keep on receiving firmware updates regardless. This commitment to support Trezor One makes the device one of the longest-living consumer electronics – especially in a market where new hardware gets released every 3-4 years 😱

I have a question I bet you would know. Can you use trezorctl to cashe a passphrase in the model T so it won't have to be entered by hand in the model T.

I like large high entropy passphrases. This is for programs that don't have the option of entering the passphrase in the program.

Thanks..🧡🙂

p.s Maybe a session command.

That’s a good question but I’m afraid I can’t give a good answer. Pretty sure #[3] can help 🤔
