You need to read more to get the context of the verses trust me. In a loving marriage controlling lust should come easy. Life is to be more about self sacrifice than self help. It is good and right to lust after your wife though. He tells us to be fruitful, the Bible talks a lot about what love looks like, sex, how to have a good marriage, how to be a good husband and leader and how to be a good wife. Man CAN be tougher against evil and it’s temptations than you think, Gods power is made perfect in our weakness. Put on the full armor of God.
