The audacity of some governments to ask their people to pay taxes on unrealized gains! Unrealized gains are not real gains! Maybe people should pay not-real taxes in return. Their fiat currencies are already not-real, so.. 🤷🏻♀️
The only ones who will accept this are unrealized people. Once you’ve had your financial awakening, this kind of compliance becomes harder and harder. #selfrealization

I don’t know :) Part of me thinks that if taxes were voluntarily some of us might choose to pay some for specific purposes that we want to support. But yeah, every tax that is forced on me and that goes to things I would never ever voluntarily support, is theft.
Ok I see. I am more ok for a participation tax. Like gas and car taxes to pay for the roads. School tax if you send your kid to public school. Like that I pay if I use the service / product.
There are still some issues with that since the govt has some difficulties to manage public funds but better than income tax, capital gain tax etc.
Off course voluntary taxes would be ok as well.
The tricky part for what you said is that if your taxes are used for sometething that you agree on it could be still teft for someone else that may not agree.
the #taxationistheft community could be of use. It’s a numbers game when trying to combat these hostile policies. We’ll need more people than just #bitcoiners
Every country is like LLC, basically a corporation and you obbey it's rules when you live there. I don't know many free countries if there are such, but opting out of the financial system might be a good step.
It’s part of being a digital nomad to find creative (and legal) ways around this 😄
